1. Agreement

By accessing or using Teacher’s Pet AI (“Service”), you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation.

2. Accounts & access

• You must provide accurate account information and keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for activities under your account. Keep your login secure.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts for breach or misuse.

3. Acceptable use

• No illegal activity, harassment, or infringement of others’ rights.
• No attempts to reverse engineer, disrupt, or overload the Service.
• No submission of personal or confidential data you are not authorised to share.
• No academic misconduct: do not pass AI-generated work off as your own where prohibited.

4. Content

You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant us a non-exclusive licence to process that content to provide and improve the Service. You are responsible for ensuring you have the necessary rights to upload any content.

5. Subscriptions & billing

Paid plans renew automatically unless cancelled. Prices and features may change with notice. To the maximum extent permitted by law, fees are non-refundable once the billing period begins.

6. Third-party services

We rely on third-party providers (e.g., Firebase, OpenAI, Supabase, email/SMS providers). Their terms and privacy policies also apply.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is”. We do not guarantee accuracy, reliability, or availability. You are responsible for verifying important outputs before relying on them.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 3 months before the claim.

9. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your misuse of the Service or your content.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach or risk to the Service.

11. Changes to these terms

We may modify these terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the new terms.
